Take advantage of scholarly internship opportunities at the University of Washington!
The Visiting International Student Internship & Training Program (VISIT) permits students enrolled and pursuing degrees at universities outside of the US to participate in full-time supervised research and work-based learning experiences at the University of Washington.

An internship is a structured and guided work-based learning program that pertains directly to your study requirements at your home institution, provides on-the-job exposure to American techniques and methodologies, and enhances your knowledge of American culture and society.

As an Intern, you will be hosted by a University of Washington academic department or program and closely supervised by a member of the faculty. Interns must hold "J-1 exchange visitor" visa status.
