Don Baker, PMP, MBA
Senior Vice President, Bank of America
Baker has managed the design, production and delivery of more than $500 million in strategic capital projects. He has also lived with the operation of projects for several years after completion, and consequently has a keen appreciation for the life-cycle impacts of facility investment decisions. Baker has directed a large-scale communication network project that included infrastructure design and construction, development of a service product portfolio, organization and implementation of a sales plan and creation of a transition program into the full-scale production operation. He has also developed and operated his own professional consultant practice. As West Region project director, he currently is responsible for more than 600 projects across eight states, with more than $150 million in capital projects in production.
Katherine Randall-Duffy, CFM
Facilities Manager, Department of Employment Security
Facility Manager for the State of Washington, Department of Employment Security, Randall-Duffy currently supervises a staff of seven and is responsible for space, budget and strategic planning for more than seventy leased and state-owned facilities. During her 25 year career with the State, Randall-Duffy participated in program development, space planning and staff relocation projects; in addition she has been responsible for the facilities planning and management of buildings ranging from 9,000 to 60, 000 square feet. Active in IFMA, Randall-Duffy founded the South Puget Sound chapter in 1995, and currently serves as chapter president. She received a B.A. in Interior Design from Washington State University, and has significant teaching experience, having taught in all three courses in the UW certificate program.
Gerald W. Ronningen-Fenrich, AIA
Architect, Ronningen-Fenrich, LLC
Ronningen-Fenrich is a licensed architect and certified project manager with over 25 years of experience in facility planning, design, construction commissioning and occupancy. He has managed projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $115 million for government agencies, universities and corporations. His company provides consulting services to building owners and facilities managers in the areas of design and construction management, critical path scheduling, cost control, construction quality control and project completion.
Cynthia Putnam, Principal
Putnam Price Group, Inc.
Cynthia has two decades of experience working with clients to implement customer education programs in energy efficiency and resource conservation. She served on the management team of the Washington State Energy Office prior to establishing Putnam Price Group. Her recent work includes directing the development of a nationally-recognized, professional certification program for building operators. She has been a speaker at national conferences including the Summer Study of the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy and World Workplace of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). She also teachies in the Sustainable Building Advisor Certificate Program sponsored by Seattle City Light and Seattle Central Community College.
