Program Overview
Continue with multimedia development where the UW Multimedia Design and Production Certificate Program left off. After much demand, courses are now available that dig much deeper into the use of more advanced concepts and application techniques. These courses are offered through the new Flash Certificate Program which is hands-on, project-driven and focuses on one software platform to create interactive and rich web multimedia applications.
Students gain experience with project management, Flash Action Scripting 3.0, greater use of components, integration of XML data, animation & masking techniques, integrating sound and video media elements, sending form data to a server, creating and using shared libraries and techniques for improving performance. In addition, students learn effective integration of multimedia data using database-driven dynamic content for the purpose of developing effective strategies for storing and retrieving data such as images, sound and video.
We will be using Flash 8 Professional.
