The Puget Sound region is home to some of the most exciting medical imaging companies and research facilities in the world. If you are responsible for the development, manufacturing or sales of medical imaging products, this certificate program is designed for you.

Developed by local industry leaders and distinguished faculty in the Departments of Radiology and Bioengineering in University of Washington's School of Medicine, the Medical Imaging Certificate Program exposes students to the potential of the medical imaging discipline as the bridge between research/development, manufacturing, and sales/marketing in the medical industry. An integrative approach to imaging modalities and medical case problem-solving is introduced in this program, along with tools for translating research and development into new applications and product commercialization.

In this certificate program, students focus on image acquisition and gain an understanding of how medical diagnostic systems function in healthcare facilities around the world. These evening classes will be held on UW Bothell's campus, easily accessible to many imaging companies based in western Washington.
