This program is designed for professionals with a background in mathematics and quantitative analysis, who are seeking to advance their knowledge and careers in the field of marketing research.
Participants learn how to properly define market opportunities, design market research, construct surveys, do accurate sampling, and complete data analysis using SPSS. The program examines methodologies that are useful for analyzing customer databases and presents models that can be applied in the analysis of marketing problems and the support of marketing decisions. Participants will also be exposed to new developments in online research, web surveys, and data analysis.
In the final course, participants complete an applied market research project using the models and techniques learned. The program is taught and projects are reviewed by marketing faculty members from the UW Foster School of Business.
