With an emphasis on cross functionality, learn how to develop and administer databases via Oracle. Study core regional database management systems (RDBMS) and apply those concepts to Oracle. Examine Structured Query Language (SQL), normalization, data integrity, architecture, and administrative essentials. Focus on development using PL/SQL, and explore administration issues such as security, back up, recovery, and system management.
This program is offered in an online + classroom format, a blend of in-person lecture and online learning.

- Concepts, architecture, and administrative essentials
- Application development and administration
- The basics of Oracle user, system, and object security, and additional security features
- Techniques for troubleshooting and fine tuning system performance, including common utilities in scripts and PL/oad.
