  3. May I submit multiple assignments?

  1. How do I submit assignments?

Prior to submitting assignments, please read the information on the "About Your Instructor" page, which you'll find on your course syllabus. Your instructor may request that you submit assignments by e-mail, an electronic tool (E-submit), fax, or regular mail.

Whenever you submit an assignment, be sure to number each page and put your name on each page.

If you are asked to submit assignments by regular mail or fax, please put the following information on the first page:

    • Your name
    • Your University of Washington student number (UW ID)
    • Course abbreviation (ENGL 131)
    • Assignment number

  2. What if my instructor is late in responding to my assignments?

Instructors are asked to submit feedback within one week of receiving your assignment electronically (e-mail, E-submit, or fax), or within two weeks of receiving your assignment by regular mail.

If you do not receive feedback in the expected time, please contact your instructor. If you do not receive a response within two days, please contact Online Learning Support Staff.

  3. May I submit multiple assignments?

In general, you should submit no more than one assignment at a time. Before submitting multiple assignments, you should always contact your instructor and receive permission to do so. You will be better prepared for each assignment if you can take advantage of your instructor's evaluation of one assignment before submitting the next.
